Le Mission Trip

Recently I went on my first ever mission trip. Best day of my life?

A nine hour bus ride was torture, but kind of worth it. I realized that when I saw the smiles on their faces.

The trip was to the orang asli in Pahang.

Dying to get out of the bus, we finally arrived there. When we first got there they were very scared of us, shy, and intimidated by us until we started worshiping and singing praises.

They may not have sang along, but some of them started to smile.

Then we started to negotiate with them. They looked like they were trying to do that serious face, and failing. Hiding smiles and laughter.

They had so many children there. Adorable children.

Then we gave them medical treatment, some of them were scared because they thought we were going to jab them.

A few were afraid of the camera too.

Spent two hours there, and as we left we saw them opening the gifts we brought to them.

Wearing the clothes we gave them, running around and laughing, their faces brightened.

Seeing that, we were happy. That is an unexplainable joy.
